I’ve been saying this for 10 years. It’s crazy that airlines still dish out such claptrap about “important safety regulations on this aircraft prohibit use of mobile phones and certain electronic devices” blah blah blah. It’s just nonsense. Mobile phones, iPads and similar gadgets now have “flight mode” which switches off wifi and 3G, but no, airlines...
