Nokia's Earnings Fall 90%
I must say, whilst this headline is shocking, I am not surprised.
Nokia have been losing the plot for some time now - I grumbled about this some time back. IMHO, their smart phones have lousy usability, and their plain-Jane cheapie phones started failing in two ares: namely, hardware failure (reliability) and user interface (at one stage 5 or 10 years ago, you could grab any Nokia and navigate to the deepest settings with ease and confidence - now almost everyone is different.)
I know it’s anecdotal, but I can’t think when last I saw one of my friends or colleagues use a Nokia. (OK, my brother in law still has his original Nokia 6310) mostly because it has a battery life that almost lasts a week!)
