Just got an invite from Google Voice, and I was so keen to login and register my own new phone number and try out the service. In fact I have been in the waiting list since Grand Central days.
So, you can imagine my geeky enthusiasm… I clicked the invite link, logged into Google… and … “Google Voice is not available in your country”.
Disapointment. How come they couldn’t figure out from my Google account profile settings that I am in South Africa anyway, and not taunt me with an invite in the 1st place? Seems odd.
So, the wait continues.
