Interpol puts Assange on most-wanted list

OK Interpol, now you have really done it for me. First you hire local SA crook-cop Jackie Selebi as your chief without doing any background checks, now you’re putting out an arrest for WikiLeaks chief, Julian Assange, on rape charges.

I don’t buy it.

I’m sure Mr Assange is no angel. But seriously InterPol, your sense of timing reminds me of Bill Clinton going to war during Monica-gate. Ooops, my decoy alarms have just gone off.

I’m not sure it was the dirt on the war on Iraq, Afghanistan or the latest 250,000 leaked cables. I think it is the fear of the big banks that were going to get exposed next year. I’m sure there’s a few powerful folk in those circles who might have some swing in the Interpol camp. Just saying.
