Mobile Applications: Dead or Dying?

I think it’s more to do with no-more-sync blues. What I mean is essentially having all your data in the cloud means your mobile, your desktop and laptop all see the same version of your calendar, your notes, your docs, etc. I use Google Apps, Google Docs, Google Reader and RememberTheMilk for this reason. I haven’t had to sync for months :-)
