OK, the thing that struck me about this image from GigaOm, was the size of the Gmail market - around 100 million users. Already half the size of the Hotmail market which has been going for a decade. And look at Outlook - only 4 times bigger - after all these years.
So, do some math - 100m x 6732mB of disk space (as at today) - that’s 673200 TeraBytes of storage. (or 673.2 PetaBytes). Yeow - my brain hurts.
