As usual I enjoyed this latest series of photos from The Boston. But this picture (please click though for full impact) really made me smile.
Here are these old friends savoring the moment, enjoying a glass of wine and seemingly unfazed by the floods in their city. They could have had a bad day, grumbling and moaning about their plight - but instead did something they will all remember for a long time - and had fun too.
(PS: if you look at all of the photos in the series, most people look surprisingly unstressed about it all - is this just a Venice thing?)
