Facebook Is Gaining Ground On Google In Time Spent On The Internet
Interesting chart - seems like people are spending more and more time on social networks (people spent 33.9 billion minutes on Facebook last month) than searching for “stuff” on Google. I wonder how many more months before Facebook is top of the pops?
Methinks Microsoft’s small percentage but large dollar investment in Facebook will be paying off some time soon. Especially as Facebook is becoming the default “search engine” when searching for people. It’s more likely that you’ll find that old flame or work colleague on Facebook than via searching Google. Hmmm maybe Redmond had a plan back then…
