US Consumer Expenditure over the last 100 Years
I am amazed how food costs (relative to income) have halved but transportation costs have exploded! Clothing costs have shrunk too - probably largely to cheap labour from the east. Even things like health care are down. It’s all ratherĀ intriguing.
