3 Missed Calls? Huh!?
Our local taxis seem to have the weirdest slogans splashed across their back windows. I saw this one the other day.
Kinda wondered if it’s a status symbol to have 3 missed calls rather than only one?
So where do bodies “go back to”?
I re-discovered this photo I took a few years ago. It’s a shot of a hand-scrawled sign stuck on the wall of a crematorium. Yep, that’s right folks. I was having a look around at what goes on “at the back” after a funeral I attended.
So, back to the sign. I am trying to imagine “a body” (read: corpse) arriving with “wrong papers” and the under-taker-incinerator operator dude saying, “Sorry mate, wrong papers, go back to … er…”
Once a mill, now a market. Here’s their website: http://www.theoldbiscuitmill.co.za/
Once the Pyotts Biscuit Mill
For my Cape Town friends - you MUST visit the Old Biscuit Mill on a Saturday morning for the food market - it’s amazing and very authentic.
I spotted this outside a client’s building recently.
Didn’t know they cared so much about their brand to paint their trees green.
I took this pic with my mobile yesterday. I was having a tour of a factory which manufactured all sorts of beverages. Thought the sign was pretty neat.
Wobbly Boardwalk
Took this one last week next to the lagoon in Wilderness. Floods a few weeks prior have damaged the boardwalk.
From my back yard. I just loved what the sky was doing.
